- The most annoying thing is that this article was predicted by climate change models decades ago. Even though we are witnessing what was predicted, most people never took the time to understand the warning, so every clear sign of change is ignored.

- To be clear: there is nothing wrong with ethanol as a fuel source. The problem is the corn lobby, corn subsidies, and ethanol from corn; none of these things are helping the country.

- Al has long known that cellulosic hydrogen was the right answer, but made an expedient choice as described above. In the face of hundreds of millions of dollars spent on FUD regarding the issue, it probably seemed like a good idea at the time.

- Interestingly enough, the press have been asking each candidate for several weeks what plans they would have to change or postpone because of the economic crisis, and Obama has been talking about it in those terms already. It's not backpedaling, it's leadership.

I watched all the debates, heard the speaches and watch the infomercial and I can't remember one instance where he mentioned the caution you see to think he espoused all along? Where pray tell, may I find one instance of that caution Obama speaks of today. Please tell me the Obama we have all bought into is not changing his mind?
